We invented an interactive and immersive video game for a TV show. The story, the visuals, the gameplay, and the technique; all from scratch.
A big stage. Tons of projectors, sensors and cables. 26 shows. 130 animated backgrounds. Thousands of assets, code lines and R&D hours. Not enough money. An amazing team. We are very, very proud.
Code Max’s universe
Somehow we found time to attend gameplay meetings and technical workshops, write storylines and do other interactive tests, all the while animating everything. The show came to life in the middle of chaos.
Creating Max
Max, the 3D virtual co-presenter of the show, interacts live on the giant screen. Besides fitting with the backgrounds, he needed to look great and be suitable for facial tracking. Easy, of course.
